William A. Shine Great Neck South High School Drama Program
Part of the Performing Arts Department (Michael Schwartz, Chairman), the drama program offers in-school credit classes in Acting, Directing, Improvisation, Theatre Production, and Public Speaking. Students with a real interest and passion for theatre take part in our extra-curricular drama program Theatre South, which annually produces a full length musical and play, as well as coffee houses and improv shows. The drama program is a vibrant and creative outlet for the students at South High and those who participate leave with confidence, a diverse skill set, and life-long friendships. Great Neck South High School Drama is currently run by Tommy Marr.
